Can I find all Springlights products on this site?
We have such an extensive range of products that not all of them are listed on our website. If there is something you are looking for that you cannot find here, please email us at email@example.com and we will assist you.
Can you customize products?
Yes, there are products that can be customized. If a product can be customized then you will these options on the product page drop down. If there are other size options this is noted on the product page under “Other size options”.
Can you tell me if a product is available to purchase?
If the product is listed as available on our website, then it can be purchased. If, however, it is no longer available or there is a delay in getting it to you then we will contact you to decide if you would like to proceed with the order or if you would prefer to select an alternative product.
Can you help me select products for my home or project?
Yes we can. Please click on our chat box or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you to discuss your requirements.
Orders and Delivery
How do I know you have received my order?
You will receive an email with an order confirmation as well as an order number once your order has been placed.
Is it safe to order online?
Yes all payments online are made via our trusted partners. Your information is secure.
How can I track my order?
If you would like any updates on your order please email us at email@example.com and quote your order number.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver to anywhere in South Africa.
How can I speed up my delivery?
If you need your product urgently then please get in contact with us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can discuss other delivery options.
What should I do if I receive an incorrect or faulty item?
If we have made a mistake or if an item is not working as specified, please notify us by email at email@example.com within 72 hours of receipt to discuss a refund, repair or replacement.
How can I pay for my order?
You can pay via our secure payment gateways on our website.
You can also opt to pay via EFT and then simply send us the proof of payment so that we can dispatch your items.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Should you wish to make any changes to your order, they must be done within one business day of your purchase. This includes cancellation requests, product modifications, and quantity adjustment.
How much will it cost for my order to be delivered to me?
Free delivery (where applicable) only applies to major city centers in South Africa, namely, Gauteng, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein and Durban.
If no free delivery applies, then the delivery cost will depend on the parcel weight, dimensions and area of delivery. The price is calculated according to the tariffs set by our courier company. However, we have done our best to source the most cost effective and reliable agent.
Your delivery charge will be added at checkout so will appear on your final invoice before payment is made.
When will I get my delivery?
Items that are not custom made will be shipped from our warehouse within 10 working days from payment receipt. We use independent couriers to deliver and their delivery times range from 1 to 5 working days, depending on your location.

What if I have not received part of my order?
Please notify us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org within 72 hours of receipt of your items and we will get in touch with you.
Can I exchange an item?
If you find your item unsuitable or you’re not entirely satisfied please notify us by e-mail at email@example.com within 72 hours of receipt notifying us of your intention to return the product(s).
How do I return an item?
If you wish to return an unwanted item then you will arrange for return delivery with your courier of choice. If the item is to be returned due to it being damaged, incorrect or faulty, then we will arrange for the collection of the item. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy here.
What do I do if my product is faulty?
If an item is not working as specified, please notify us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org within 72 hours of receipt to discuss a refund, repair or replacement.
How much does it cost to return an item?
If you wish to return an unwanted item then you will pay for the return cost. You can either choose to use your own courier or we will give you a quote for the return.
We cover the cost of returns of damaged, incorrect or faulty items.
What do I do if my product is damaged when I open it?
If you receive an item that is damaged, we would be happy to return and replace your product at no additional cost to you. Please notify us by e-mail at email@example.com within 72 hours of receipt to discuss a refund, repair or replacement.
Technical Information on Lights
How do I know if I can use a light outdoors or in a bathroom?
Each product has an IP rating. This is displayed on the product page on our website.
IP stands for Ingress (entering) Protection. It is a rating used to describe levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against interference from foreign bodies such as dirt and moisture. In simple terms, how well is a fitting enclosed or sealed (can water, moist, steam, dust etc. penetrate the fitting?)
This is a two digit number. The first number identifies the degree of protection against the ingress of solids (dust) and the second number against liquids (drips, sprays, submersion, etc)
The most common IP ratings are as follows:
- IP 20 Enclosure– Strictly for indoor use only. Cannot be used in bathrooms and areas with steam or moisture (unless otherwise stated).
- IP 44 Enclosure– Can be used in bathrooms and areas with steam or moisture. Can be used outdoor but must be protected from harsh weather conditions. Can only withstand light rain (for example under a patio).
- IP 54 Enclosures– Same as IP44, but slightly higher dust resistant.
- IP 65 Enclosures– For outdoor use. Can withstand heavy rain (for example in one’s yard).
- IP 67 Enclosures– For outdoor use. Can withstand extremely harsh conditions. May be submerged underwater for maximum 30 minutes in water that is 1 meter high (for example in areas with heavy rainfalls / floods).
How do I know if I can dim my light?
Each product page has Dimmable information on the Specification tab. This tells you if the light fitting is able to be dimmed. Note that you may need to purchase bulbs that are dimmable for this to be possible.
What do the cool, warm and daylight colours mean when choosing bulbs?
A light bulb’s colour can dramatically enhance your living spaces, giving life to your interior design and giving each area a specific mood.
With LED bulbs, the most popular colour choices are warm white, cool white, and daylight. The colour of a light bulb is measured using the Kelvin (K) scale. For example, warm white LEDs are 2700K to 3200K, daylight is between 4000K to 4500K, and cool white is between 5000K to 6200K.
How do I know what bulbs to purchase for my light?
Each product page has Lamp Base information on the Specification tab. This tells you which bulbs to purchase for the light fitting.

We do not have physical catalogues of our products but use our website as a means of displaying products. This way we can keep our information most relevant and up to date.
